The Singletons, a nonprofit dedicated to serving single-parent families facing cancer, is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a versatile role that combines community engagement and administrative support. This role reports to the Director of Development.
What You’ll Do Community Engagement & Outreach
Represent The Singletons at networking events and in the community
Manage relationships with partners and supporters.
Coordinate our Bare Necessities Drives and send monthly updates to partners.
Support a strong volunteer program and communications.
Support fundraising events and third-party engagements.
Development
Assist in tracking donations, managing database entries, and generating donor acknowledgments.
Research, write, and submit local grant proposals, letters of inquiry (LOIs), and other funding requests to support organizational fundraising goals
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of non-profit experience preferred
Experience navigating non-profit CRM systems such as Salesforce, Network for Good, and Razor's Edge
Must have reliable transportation
Friendly, organized, and motivated self-starter
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Confident juggling multiple tasks and staying on top of deadlines
Comfortable with technology (Google Workspace, social media platforms)
Passionate about serving others and working in a team environment
Clean background check and valid driver’s license required
